Word of the Week: Shoes

August 3, 2016August 3, 2016Jordan P Martin Leave a comment

Let us place ourselves in somebody else's shoes... Shoes are functional, pretty some times, not pretty some times, hurtful sometimes, cuddling our feet other times... Use the word shoes /ʃuːz/ this week - but wear shoes less than usual this week. "I'm not even classifying shoes as good shoes or bad shoes. I'm just saying, … Continue reading Word of the Week: Shoes

Word of the Week: Compassion

July 20, 2016July 26, 2016Jordan P Martin Leave a comment

Come passion, our world is often saturated with passion and all we are missing is a one syllable prefix to create a shift... Imagine if this simple affix changed the world! Compassion /kəmˈpaʃ(ə)n/ is something that we must have for ourselves in order to be able to give it to others. Use this word in context, … Continue reading Word of the Week: Compassion

Word of the Week: Compassion

Have some. Say the word. Feel the word... With a little bit of this word plus good intention, a lot can happen and positive shifts can occur. Ten years on from writing this I have learned a fair … Continue reading Word of the Week: Compassion

Will we ever? Can we ever feel complete? Do we ever finish doing or making anything? Absolutely! There is much completion in not competing or striving for the completion. Accomplishment comes from doing, as opposed to completing. Use the words while you are doing this week... And feel COMPLETE /kəmˈpliːt/.

Hone the talent to give without payment, a special present this week, perhaps the gift of kindness, or love, or of time. Use the word /ɡɪft/ and give a gift.

Word of the Week: Share

April 1, 2016April 4, 2016Jordan P Martin Leave a comment

Some many of us relate 'share' with  social networking in this modern world... this week use SHARE in a different way... do it, and say it... /ʃɛː/... Have a portion of one of your sentences allocated for the word share... try and make it an equal share if you can.

Word of the Week: Spring

March 25, 2016April 4, 2016Jordan P Martin Leave a comment

Tis Spring time, a time of hope and new beginnings, of fixing the old and laying foundations for the future. Spring into action and use a tiny little metal spring to fix one's vocabulary, in the metaphoric sense of course... Use the word SPRING /sprɪŋ/
